Western Sydney
Campion College's home is Old Toongabbie in the Western Metropolitan
area of Sydney. Greater Western Sydney, as it is called, stretches from
Parramatta in the geographic centre of Sydney to the foot of the World
Heritage listed Blue Mountains.
The region offers an attractive lifestyle, amenities close at hand.
The city of Parramatta, which is Sydney’s second central business
district, boasts shopping, sporting and entertainment facilities
that are world class. The Olympics in 2000 were held at purpose built
facilities
only a few kilometres to the east of Parramatta.
The Blue Mountains World Heritage area is only 60 minutes by train
from Parramatta. The Blue Mountains are renowned for their spectacular
views and for opportunities for bushwalking (hiking) and other recreational activities. Students can visit the World Heritage area by simply taking a training from Toongabbie station, about 20 minutes by walk from our campus.
