  • The Philosophy In Schools Association of NSW provides services that support the introduction and development of critical and creative thinking in the classroom. The association aims to improve both the intellectual quality of pedagogy and the quality of the learning environment within which inquiry takes place. The Philosophy in Schools methodology is student-centred, complements the collaborative nature of current educational practice and provides a foundation for inquiry within all key learning areas of the curriculum. The association offers training workshops, held either at Campion College or at particular schools, as well as demonstration lessons and general support for teachers. Contact Campion College or the Philosophy In Schools Association for more information.
  • World Youth Day is coming to Sydney Australia in July  2008 and Campion College will be a part of the celebrations for the greatest Catholic gathering on Earth.
  • A free download of John Young's exceptional treatise on Philosophy is available for downloading. John Young introduces philosophy as a discipline. The book is unusual for the way in which it contextualises philosophical concepts, explaining how those concepts are relevant to other disciplines. He also canvasses modern responses to important concepts in the history of phlosophy.
