Student Life

Campion College is dedicated to ensuring our students enjoy a focused and rich education both in and beyond the classroom. As a result, student life at Campion is vibrant and ever-changing!

There are many clubs and societies that cater for a wide range of interests. These include the Art Society, Classics Society, Debating Society, Democratic Club, Film Society, Generation Liberty, LifeChoice Campion, Poetry Society and Theatre Society. Many students have taken the initiative to establish new societies and groups throughout their years of study.

Our chaplaincy team seeks to provide students with a variety of ways to grow in their Christian life. In addition to daily Mass, students can take part in retreats, spiritual talks, community outreach, Adoration and Confession. For those interested in sport, our students regularly compete in marathons and other local competitions including the Cardinal’s Cup (futsal tournament) and the CYP Lifted Sports Day.

Music is also an integral part of student life. Every semester a student-funded Open Talent Night is held on campus, where students are given the opportunity to share musical and other dramatic artistic talents with others. A Yamaha Grand Piano is open to student use and there are opportunities to perform at various college events. Fortnightly Formal Halls are an important occasion for all students and staff to come together as a community and our annual spring ball is one of the highlights of the social calendar.
