  • EC – The World of Edmund Campion Collection (Not for loan)
  • CL – Classics Collection (Standard loan)
  • PAM – Pamphlet Collection
  • Rare – Rare Books Collection

AW – Austin Woodbury Collection

The Austin Woodbury Collection contains works belonging to and used by Austin Woodbury, Marist Father and founding rector of the Blessed Peter Chanel Seminary at Toongabbie (now the site of Campion College). Woodbury founded the Aquinas Academy and taught extensively on theology and philosophy.

Australian Literature Collection

This collection focuses on works of and about Australian literature and contains renowned authors, poets, playwrights and commentators. Much of this collection was formed from the purchase of Dr Noel Rowe’s personal collection.

The World of Edmund Campion Collection

The World of Edmund Campion is a special collection providing a wealth of background material on the era of Edmund Campion and beyond. It extends from the period of Recusant Catholicism during the Protestant Reformation in the 16th century up to the mid-19th century when the Catholic Church in England, after three centuries of persecution and exclusion, was recognised once again as part of English life. In addition to publications by and on Campion himself (which are limited in number owing to his short life and the destruction of many of his works at his death), the collection contains books and journal volumes on many other figures and episodes in the course of three centuries.

Classics Collection

Campion College Library has an extensive and growing range of resources for the study of the classics, Latin and Greek languages, and philology. These include titles from the Loeb Classical Collection, Oxford Classics Collection, Cambridge Classics Collection, the Corpus Christianorum Series Latina and Corpus Christianorum Continuatio Mediaevalis.

Pamphlet Collection

The Pamphlet Collection contains a wide variety of material in pamphlet form including many works published by the Catholic Truth Society.

Rare Books Collection

The Rare Books Collection contains works that are old, usually pre-1850, or of a rare nature. It includes signed works by G.K. Chesterton and Historia Anglicana Ecclesiastica, published in 1622, among others.
