Ben Crocker
Join us for a guest lecture with Ben Crocker, University Dean at the University of Austin in Texas, on the topic:
“Right of Revolution: Inside the project to rebuild and restore American Higher education, at the University of Austin”
Originally from rural North Queensland, Ben attended Gilroy Santa Maria College in Ingham, and Kirwan High School in Townsville, before earning a Bachelor of Music from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music. He also holds a teaching Diploma from the University of Southern Queensland, and a Master of Arts in Liberal Arts from St. John’s College in Annapolis, where he attended as an inaugural Ramsay Centre for Western Civilisation postgraduate scholar.
Prior to joining UATX, Ben worked as a fellow at Common Sense Society in Washington, D.C., Budapest and London. Before moving to the United States he worked for ten years teaching in Sydney, including at The King’s School, where he was also part of the boarding staff, and as a casual lecturer at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
Ben is a senior fellow at the Institute of Public Affairs, in Melbourne. His commentary has appeared in The New York Post, The Federalist, The Spectator and Quadrant Magazines, and he has appeared as a guest for both Fox News and Fox and Friends.
