Welcome to The 814, a one-night-only ‘speakeasy’ brought to you by the Campion College Student Association and Campion College Jazz Club.
From 1920 to 1933, the United States banned the production, importation, transportation, and sale of alcoholic beverages, giving rise to underground bars known as ‘speakeasies.’ These hidden establishments served as secret havens for those looking to enjoy a drink and socialise in defiance of the law.
While Prohibition may be a thing of the past, we’re reviving the ambiance of the 1920s at The 814 Speakeasy. Immerse yourself in the ambiance of a bygone era as live jazz musicians serenade you with smooth melodies, and the air is filled with the electric energy of revelry and excitement. Whether you’re a seasoned flapper or a first-time bootlegger, The 814 Speakeasy promises an evening of unforgettable entertainment and camaraderie.

Dress to impress in your finest vintage attire! Channel the spirit of the Jazz Age with flapper dresses adorned in fringe and sequins, or opt for dapper suits complete with fedoras and suspenders. Adorn yourself with sparkling jewelry, and don’t forget to lace up your best dancing shoes for an evening of toe-tapping tunes.
