Melinda Tankard-Reist discusses the harms of pornography
Campion was honoured to have public speaker and women’s advocate Melinda Tankard-Reist give this year’s St Edmund Campion Address.
The annual end-of-semester dinner was held on campus on Thursday 24 June, with reduced student numbers due to border closures which took effect shortly after the event.
Melinda spoke to those assembled about the dangerous effects of pornography, particularly in contributing to domestic abuse and sexual exploitation of girls and women.
Melinda regularly speaks to high school students about the harmful effects of pornography, and shared some stories about her experience speaking to these young men and women.
