On Saturday the 24th of September, the Centre for the Study of the Western Tradition hosted a one-day conference to celebrate and explore the poetry and legacy of the late Les Murray AO. He is regarded by many readers and critics as Australia’s most important poet and one of the most significant poets of the twentieth and early twenty-first centuries. His many awards included the T.S. Eliot Prize for poetry, the Queen’s Gold Medal for poetry, and the Mondello Prize.

Les was a great supporter of Campion, championing the College’s mission in various ways, through endorsements of the BA program and as an honoured visitor to the College.

Our Virtual Open Day provides the opportunity to learn more about Campion College and our liberal arts degree.
