Alumni and Students Gather for Cocktail Night

On Thursday 26 February, Campion College opened its doors to alumni once again, bringing past and present students together for the Alumni and Student Cocktail Night.

The evening began with an engaging alumni panel featuring Kieran Jackson (Class of 2008), Molly Doran (Class of 2025), Michael O’Donovan (Class of 2016), and Fenelle McLaurin (Class of 2012). The panellists fielded thoughtful questions from current students on topics including the transition to professional life, unexpected turns after graduation, and considerations around further study. Their collective advice resonated clearly throughout the room: say “yes” when an opportunity comes your way — whatever that opportunity may be.

Following the panel, guests enjoyed cocktails and canapés as conversations continued well into the evening. Live music, announcements, and dancing added to the celebratory atmosphere.

With 40 alumni returning to campus and the entire student body in attendance, the evening marked a joyful celebration of community, continuity, and shared experience. It was a fantastic first event under the leadership of the new Student Association Executive, whose dedication and careful planning ensured a warm and memorable night for all involved. The College extends its sincere congratulations and thanks to the team and volunteers who assisted with the event’s set-up and execution.
