Hollywood Elegance Takes Centre Stage at Annual Campion Ball
The Annual Campion Ball, held on Saturday, September 14, brought the glitz and glamour of "The Golden Age of Hollywood" to life for over 350 attendees. The much-anticipated event, a highlight in the Catholic social calendar, drew students and young adults from across Australia for a night of elegance, community, and celebration.
Guests arrived in dazzling attire, with many taking full advantage of the evening’s Hollywood theme. The red carpet became a focal point, providing ample opportunity for photos. Inside, the Grand Hall was transformed into a sophisticated ballroom, where guests enjoyed traditional ballroom dancing,.
The evening’s entertainment ensured a night to remember, blending classic Hollywood charm with modern energy. Following the formal dances, the atmosphere shifted, giving way to lively music that kept the crowd moving well into the night.
Mary d'Assumpcao, President of the Campion College Student Association, expressed her gratitude to the Ball Committee, saying, "this event would not have been possible without the dedicated effort of everyone who helped bring the ball into fruition. In particular, I'd like to thank Maria Corson and everyone on the Ball Committee. Most people only saw the flurry of activity in the last 48 hours but it took months of planning and hours of meetings and consistent hard work to bring together Sydney's biggest Catholic Ball that everyone is enjoying tonight."
The Annual Campion Ball continues to grow each year, offering an unforgettable experience and fostering a strong sense of community among Campion College students and beyond. See below for photos from the night.
