Students and staff farewell 2023 at Reveillon

27 Nov 2023

Another academic year has come to an end as Campion celebrated its annual Réveillon dinner on Thursday 23 November.

Following Mass in the Chapel, students and staff gathered in the Grand Hall for an evening of reflection, camaraderie and acknowledgement of the many great events and achievements that have marked 2023.

Following the announcement of the incoming Residential Assistants and Student Association Executive, outgoing Dean of Studies, Dr Luciano Boschiero, shared his reflections on the past 18 years at the college. His address was met with laughter and the occasional teary eye as he shared funny anecdotes and fond memories, reminding each and every person in the room of the significance and uniqueness of the academic community at Campion College.

Third-year students Anita Donaldson and Matt Selbst then had the honour of delivering the third-year address, complete with heartwarming tales of their time at Campion, plenty of in-jokes and a creative slideshow for theatrical effect!

Prizes were also awarded for the Ted O'Halloran Prize for Latin, the Fr Julian Carron Prize for Theology, the Frank Sheed Public Speaking Prize. Schola director, Bernard Kirkpatrick, also acknowledged graduating students for their musical contributions to the college over the years.
