Campion students celebrated their final week of classes by hosting outdoor concert 'Splendour on the Lawn' for the first time in three years.

Several bands performed throughout the afternoon and evening on Saturday, including alumni group, the Jam Drops - which played at the last Splendour event - and current student band, Flawed Ontology.

External band Modulation, which performed for guests at the Campion Ball in September, kicked off the live music for the night.

Over 100 people turned out to the event, run by the Campion College Student Association, including external guests who came to enjoy the live music, barbecue and beers.

Formerly a yearly event to mark the end of the academic calendar, Splendour on the Lawn (which takes its name from the far north coast annual music festival) last took place in 2019, but was cancelled the following two years due to covid restrictions.
