Useful Information

Campion College is located at 8-14 Austin Woodbury Place, Old Toongabbie NSW 2146. There are parking spaces on campus as well as bus and train services nearby. You will receive a student card and further details on how to obtain a concession card for public transport at the beginning of semester.

During your time on campus, you will have access to student common rooms, the College library, study areas and computer labs. Students are encouraged to bring their own laptop for use at the College and details will be provided during O-Week regarding access to our high-speed network. You will also be assigned a College email address as the official means of communication between the College and students.

All students must supply a Unique Student Identifier (USI) to Campion College. Please click here to apply for a USI. If you have previously completed a VET, TAFE or Higher Education course or training, you may already have a USI. Please click here to locate it. Please email your USI as well as your Tax File Number (TFN) to Nadia (n.mansutti@campion.edu.au). If you do not have a TFN, please apply for one ASAP by clicking here.

Your USI and TFN will be kept on file should you decide to apply for a Government loan (FEE-HELP) at any point throughout your studies. Campion staff can assist you in filling out the electronic Commonwealth Assistance Form (eCAF) and will conduct a session on this during O-Week.

If you intend to apply for income support through Centrelink (e.g. Youth Allowance and in some circumstances, rent assistance), please apply for this sooner rather than later as it can take up to 3 months to process. Nadia can supply confirmation of enrolment and accommodation confirmation letters for this purpose.

Interested in Work Scheme, a leadership role or volunteering? You need a WWCC!

In NSW, any work/volunteering involving families, youth or children or in educational settings with underaged students requires a Working With Children Check (WWCC). Students originally from outside of NSW who have clearance to work in these settings in their home state will need to obtain a NSW WWCC. The Volunteering WWCC is free of charge for volunteers.

In order to apply you require original documents of either your birth certificate or passport. Please, bring these documents along for the semester to be able to start working/volunteering in NSW immediately. The online application form can be completed here. Once the form is complete, you will need to visit Services NSW and present your identity documentation.
