Emma completed her PhD in philosophy at Victoria University of Wellington in 2015. Emma wrote her thesis, “Prospects for Moral Success Theory”, in response to the moral skepticism of John Mackie and Richard Joyce. Her current research interests include the intersection between political philosophy, feminism, sexual ethics, and the ethics of abortion. Emma is a Research Fellow for Women’s Forum Australia, and a regular contributor to their blog.
Emma has also been involved in programming and teaching philosophy for highschool students, including at Hartford College and PLC Sydney.
