Associate Professor Anthony Gordon fulfils the role of Associate Dean – Postgraduate and has been the coordinator of religious education courses at Campion College Australia since 2023.
From 2017-2022, he was Director of Catholic Education, Diocese of Wilcannia-Forbes. In this role Anthony oversaw the development, professional learning and implementation of the religious education program, Educating in Christ, developed by Professor Gerard O’Shea. Prior to this, Anthony has fulfilled leadership roles in Catholic education as Learning Leader: Mission, Catholic Education, Diocese of Parramatta and as Archdiocesan Youth Ministry Coordinator and Faith Formation and Evangelisation Advisor, Sydney Catholic Schools. He has also worked as a Senior Lecturer in Philosophy and Theology and a Chaplaincy Convenor at the University of Notre Dame Australia. Anthony also has experience in Catholic schooling as a classroom teacher and Religious Education Coordinator in the Diocese of Parramatta. Anthony also studied Catholic Philosophy and Theology at the Centre for Thomistic Studies, Sydney.
