Amenities
Both residential and non-residential students have access to a number of amenities on campus including:
Student Common Rooms
Campion College grants all students with access to a common room or ‘student lounge’, where students can meet and relax, or study. There are three common rooms: one in each of the residential houses and one upstairs at the end of the girls’ dorm.
Library, Study Areas and Computer Lab
The College provides a number of areas suitable for individual or group study including spaces within the Library and other areas throughout campus. Residential students have after-hours access to the Computer Lab.
Wireless Internet
Students are encouraged to bring their own laptop for use at the College and details will be provided in the Orientation Week regarding access to our high speed network. Each student is also assigned a College email address as the official means of communication between the College and students.
Cafeteria
The College Kitchen offers a range of meals that can be purchased by residential, day students and their guests, during lunch time (noon to 1.00pm). There is a kitchenette near the deck, where all residential and non-residential students can access a microwave and make tea and coffee. Vending machines are also available.
Piano
A piano has been generously donated to the College. All staff and students require written approval to play the piano. Approval forms may be obtained from Reception. Approved persons must agree to and follow the ‘Piano Guidelines for Use’ to ensure care and longevity of the piano and everyone’s enjoyment.
Parking
Campion College is located within a residential suburb and consideration of neighbours must be shown when entering and leaving the Campus. College students are not permitted to park in the local streets around the campus. As such, there are a number of parking spaces within the campus for student use.
Locker Hire
Lockers are available for hire on an annual or semester basis. Allocation of these lockers is carried out on a first come first served basis. Please see Reception for locker hire rates.
Storage
During breaks between semesters, residential students may apply to use storage spaces available on campus. Please speak to the Senior Residential Tutor regarding storage guidelines.
